Those views are personnel management, human resources management and human capital management.
In general, those four views are together talk about how to organize the employees inside the organization. What so different are the view of how do they see the employees as. The personnel management view as the oldest view of managing employees by Armstrong in 1977 contend to focus on obtain, organize and motivates the human resources as mandatory by the organization. On the other hands, the human resource management view the people as organization’s most valued assets which may contributes to organization’s objectives. This human resources management view has now been substituted by the view of human capital management. In this case, the view of human capital management will view people as the most valuable asset which need to be developed in order to add their value and contribution to the organization.
All in all, the evolution of how does organization view its’ people will influence how do they treat them. The more organization view their people as valuable assets, the more investations they will put on to the people in order to develop the organization.
