Is it just me or Instagram new feature kinda look like Snapchat?
The answer is no, it’s not just you, Instagram did, recently adopt the idea of snapchat, and publicly admitted it. But then again in the era of e-Business, it’s really no shame in admitting to it.
Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom honestly stated that “Just like Instagram deserves all the credit for bringing filters to the forefront. This isn’t about who invented something. This is about a format, and how you take it to a network and put your own spin on it.”
Looking back we do have to admit that, Instagram was one of the pioneers in the photographic-filter arena. Nowadays almost every social media platform have some kind of a filter to maximize photo appearances. Not to mention there’s a great deal of application available, for photo advancement.
One might say, well Instagram still have not fully acquired the full face filters, geo-filter and few other features of Snapchat, but really in this digital era, where an innovation can be such a success overnight, yet, at the same time also easily became obsolete, we can honestly believe it’s just a matter of time before Instagram possess such features.
After the famous rejection of Snapchat $3 billion-dollar acquisition from Facebook back in 2013. Facebook turns to MSQRD and has recently tested them in the Facebook Apps. This can be an interesting twist in the snapchat-facebook-Instagram plot.
